CarrickDojo Ninja Registration ( 2023_2024) - Parental Consent / Registration Form

Complete the form below to Register your interest in joining CoderDojo Carrick on Shannon. Registration is one time for the 2023-2024 term. Please note that weekly tickets will still be needed for in-person sessions, a link will be sent out by email, to the email address provided below, the week before each event for all registered members. Ticket numbers are limited based on the availability of volunteer mentors and the capacity of the rooms available.

  • We will try to accommodate all requests as best we can. If there is another area that you are interested in please let us know. Other areas : CSS, HTML, Scratch, Java, App Development, etc..

  • Medical Information

    Please list any medical conditions that Coder Dojo mentors should be aware of in the event of illness or accident. Please note that if a member needs to take medication during the time of Coder Dojo sessions, it is their/guardian responsibility to ensure this happens.

  • Laptops

    Laptops are the preferred equipment and ideally each attendee will bring their own but we are working on sourcing some PCs for students to borrow. Please let us know if you need to be provided with a laptop for the session. We can't guarantee them for all children but we will try to accommodate all requests.

  • Permission Slip

    Please read each of the items below carefully and tick the relevant box. If you have any concerns regarding the items below, please contact us by email carrickonshannondojo@gmail.com.
  • Accompanying adults must remain within The Hive building and comply with all requests from the mentors with regard to safety.
  • Without pre-booked tickets CoderDojo Carrick will be unable to permit entry to a session. This is required in order to comply with Child Protection policy and the government guidelines in place for Covid-19 at the time.

  • Pictures may be published via social media, published media (local or national press) or via CoderDojo website(s). Parental permission will be sought. Pictures will not be of a child on their own unless in very specific circumstances; and only then with parental permission.
